No, I don't think there is any better helmet for Knights, not if you want the healing ability, at least. The Knight's special items are a Suit and a Crest, and neither is a helmet.

They must be pretty darn ridiculously rare. I only ever found one Wizard's buckler, and I haven't found any Sorcerer's gloves at all. All this in games where I even found two Blades of Power.

If you encounter another, pick it up! It is the most powerful short-range weapon in the game.
