Thursday morning, as the sun peeps over the horizon, my wife and I will get on a plane for Vancouver, BC. Once there, we will meet our daughter(w/husband, two kids) from Georgia, and my sister from California. Then on Friday we will board the cruise ship "Mercury" and spend a week cruising the inside passage to Glacier Bay. We'll be home in about nine days. I hope you all (Pl of you)can find a few dumb jokes to tide you over until I get back. I am sad that we won't go all the way to Denali, but that's another trip.

Please don't fill up the forum too much. If I'm gone for a weekend, it takes f o r e v e r to get caught up. Nine days may cause a fuse to blow in my CPU.

We made the trip once before from Seward to Vancouver. I hope it looks different from the other direction.

FLASH! The weather channel (working for a change) has just announced that Hurricane Dennis has U-turned and is headed back to the Outer Banks! There goes our October trip!
