I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next...everything I can do is redundant, it doesn't change anything.

I have 4 passcards, I've built the tachyon shield plate (but I can't carry it out of the HEEC, how do I get it out?), I've got a bomb and I've convinced Kevin Johnson but he's not going to do much right away. Where am I supposed to go from here? oh and I need 2 more rubber tubes, I can't get one from the ceiling outside my room because beetles fall on me and kill me every time I try to get one.
