> 1) Is there anything behind the barrier after you pass Cortez?

There is an area of natural caverns -- presumably there would be lots of valuable minerals, but the miners have to wait until an inspection team can go there first and do safety checks.

> 2) Was there anyhing else in the mine lockers, I tried a key and it fit but wouldn't turn?

Nothing you could get. The iron key only fit inside the lock in the first place because the key was too small.

> 3) Was there anything in the pool - it's just that I splashed for ages and ages?

Nothing of interest besides what you found there.

> 4) What was VL going to do with the object?

Which one?

> 5) Where was Silas?

In the medical laboratory.

> 6) I looked for the stuff he wanted but couldn't find any!

It's too difficult for Ken to find. One would have to dig really deep and in the right places to find any.

> 7) What was with that nurse, talk about bedside manner!?

I don't know...I was probably thinking about mean nurses after watching _One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest_.

> 8) Who was the other thief, VL was talking about?

There wasn't one -- that was just something she likes to say.

> 9) Who was the woman with the sprained ankle?

She was the woman you saw on the shuttle ride. She also worked in the Security Office.

> 9a) I thought she might've been someone who went missing from a previous game!

Nope.

> 10)Why did I never get another meal, or go hungry?

The game was short enough to be within a day or so (notice you didn't really have to sleep, either). Sure, he was probably getting hungry at the end, though.

> 11)Who and where was the brat's other person?

The brat's name was Kevin (did you see where he was in TOA?) and his dad's name was John. He was one of the miners, but you couldn't meet him in the game.

> 12)What happened to the good Doc?

The ISO found out that he was helping Ken out, and took him into custody after searching his room. The combined effect of the beetle poison and their rough treatment was too much for the poor guy, and he passed away.

> 13)Why did that book ring a bell with Ken?

He heard something about it in college.

> 14)Why did no-one ever clear away the old mining gear?

They were too lazy. Also, the miners weren't given the most spacious of quarters, so they left a lot of their stuff out in the hallways rather than clutter up their rooms.

> 15)Why couldn't I warn the girl's father?

I didn't think of putting that option in. Makes sense to me, though.

> 16)What happened to my inventory!?
> 16a)I worked damned hard for that and now I've got nothing to show for it!

You got it back, right? Or do you mean at the end of the game?

> 17)Who was the old woman in the arboretum?

Just a rich tourist.

> 18)What's behind the doors that are unopenable?

In the arboretum? Just storage rooms.

> 19)Why couldn't I help myself to the entrygate leftover bits and pieces?

You mean pieces that would have come in handy later in the game? A lot of the metal plating covering the gateway was still in place, and the peryolitium that was behind the part you did destroy was blasted to tiny shards.

> 20)What's in that building that I couldn't open, when I was trapped in the alley?
>

The storage room that you were in earlier (where you can peek outside). You can only get there from the basement level, though.
