That's okay, you don't need it. If you haven't foudn the other item from that area that you need though, I suggest you go back and dig some more.

There's an item in her room you need to get, but you can't get it until you find her keycard. It's buried way way way down.

Ahh, the one next to the rubbish pile... yes you need something quite powerful to blow your way through there, I think. Or am I thinking of another room?

You need more stuff. Look around in certain high level exec's offices, and on computer files, and whatnot. What will finally win him over, I think- nottotally sure- will be found in the arboretum.
