Thanks for the hint but I'm still not getting it. I can't put the nerds in my car (as much as I'd like to stuff them in the trunk). So I'm guessing there has to be a grate or something somewhere in that area. Any other hints would be appreciated. I can't get near the trench in the north field either. Hrmmm, I've always been able to solve problems like this up until now. This one is driving me bonkers. I'll probably slap myself when I get it. Thanks.
