POA questioning queries!

My queries regard the room that's, unlocked, dark and has something blocking it from the inside.
I thought I had the problem sussed as I have the small mirror and a light stick... "WRONG"
How do I get in?
What can't I find in the rubbish pile,(you can't answer directly - but just a hint won't hurt) do I need it? or is it just a tease to keep me going back there?
