POA: King's Dilemma and tubes

This has been driving me nuts.. I've looked up the theories that were on Sawyer's books on the net, but it just mixes me up more. Maybe I've got it all wrong... I suck at math...

As well.. I can't seem to get a better light tube or a broken light tube (for the kid, I assumed from the info in other posts) or figure out which rubber tube I could get from the OSA tubes...

I'm close to the end of the game now, Johnston is waiting to plant the bomb, and I have nothing to do but step out and die.

Any hints would help immensely...
