I keep searching the flower garden, but I've found nothing but the jewel. Should I find more?

I've given 3 pieces of gold to the soothsayer-----do I need to give her more?

What do I do with th dagger? A

And how do I help the gnome?

PLEASE!!!

(And could you please give something rather specific about the garden, though without completely giving it away!)
