GOA - small problem in the shape of a large dragon

whilst looking for an illusive gold coin decided to see if the crate i'd got could be used to get me into a window "at home". discovered that NO - it can't!
got side tracked on the way back and stopped off to get some more gems and took a wrong turn. now faced with a smoke dragon that i can hurt but not kill or even better escape!! (for now!)
plleeeaaaasssse help
