I usually take my contacts out when I shower, even if it's in the middle of the day. My glasses are almost as good as my contacts, so if I don't feel like putting contacts in again, I just wear glasses for the night. The contacts I wear are not the type you can keep in overnight, so I don't wear them to sleep. I actually can't even wear them for a nap because my eyes get too dry.
