I *think* it was about 10 years ago I bought it, which puts it pretty much bang on "could be either", by the sound of it.

Actually, what's tickling the back of my memory at the moment is that there was another ST ship-combat wargame that I can't remember the name of, released around the same time as SFB, and it's at least possible that I have that instead.

Hopefully, after the weekend I'll have found it, and I'll know exactly what I have. I know I've played both of them, and they were both great fun, so having an opponant again would be cool.
