 Or a fan. I have my head right by a fan(don't get concerned, there's something to keep my head out of the fan), and I try to keep the TV volume lower than I can hear. It's not easy, as my parents prefer to have it on louder.

 I only hear the radio when I'm in the car or van, and not even then all the time.
