 Well, I do, but more often than not I wear
 sandals or flip-flops when I'm indoors. I don't
 usually wear shoes indoors, except at work,
 where proper business etiquette (and the
 dress code) dictate that I keep them on.

 I can understand that some people live in cold
 climates and can't go barefoot outside, but
 wearing shoes AT HOME?!

 What I find weird and unpleasant is going
 barefoot indoors in the winter. For some
 reason, even when the heat is on full blast, my
 feet freeze. We're talking icicles here. I'll wear
 shoes around the house in winter to avoid
 this. (I've tried socks, and they just don't cut it.)
 
 Also, when one goes around barefoot all day,
 even indoors, the soles of ones feet get all
 dirty and brown and really ought to be washed
 before retiring to one's bedchamber for the
 night. My wife does this, but I'd rather wear
 sandals.
