Oh, sure we have graduation. You just have to complete a university degree.
My sister recently graduated from Sussex University with a degree in Theoretical Physics - boring ceremony, but worth it for the pictures in silly hat and gown. Then I nicked the hat and we took a few pictures of her with the hood up. That was REALLY, REALLY funny.
And Sussex provide a loan/rent service for gowns. You should have seen all the dignitaries - there was this one guy wearing bright blue robes with a hat that can only be decribed as looking like a large blue lampshade with tassels and a handle on top. It was apparently because he had won a Nobel Prize for something or other.
