Also, not everything in my original write-up applied to the particular Pentium III model that he was selling, so I showed him how he was using an inaccurate description for the item he was selling. All in all though, it felt kind of good to think that someone went to *our* web site to grab content for a computer product like that.

It's not directly related, but your story reminds me of when I had one of those "sandwich signs" made--you know, the type you wear over your head like a poncho--that said "I AM A FUNNY GUY" in huge type on both sides of it, and I wear it wherever I go. That way, whether or not I'm the one telling the jokes, everyone who sees me knows that I am funny too.
One time some prankster snuck up behind me while I was standing in a really long line and defaced the back side of my sign. He took one of those fat markers and crossed out the "A" and the "GUY" and then wrote "LOOKIN'" after the "FUNNY," so the back of my sign said
"I AM FUNNY LOOKIN'." Boy, let me tell you, that made me mad when I found out. I had to get a whole new sign made. Plus I went around the rest of that day looking like a moron and not even realizing it.
