True, true, but Louisiana was purchased and California was...won form Mexico in The Mexican American war I believe. I dunno, been out of school too long, I think I'm really starting to press my luck on these types of posts. And we annexed Texas, because we kept moving into Texas anyway, ignoring, gee, Mexican protests of immigration. Then Texas declared independence, and we annexed them. Not that I think that can happen again. And purchased Southern Arizona. And Florida.
