Good point: It's a step forward in human technology. Research and observations can help in world hunger, or prevention of desease of the future. Also it could serve a purpose for childless parents or to establish likes between humans.
Bad point: It doesn't help in the overpopulation nor can it be morally justifying if we create defective kids.

Either way, I find more research and studies should be done to look at it as a whole. Scientifically and morally it seems as if this world can never be more ready than the present to start in this new evolution of human kind.
