Well -- the older ones are all over the place in many rural communities. On the island of Montreal, the cemetery that I was referring to is located in the agricommunity of Ste-Anne de Bellevue. Our Quebec ancestors are located in and around Hawkesbury (which is actually in Ontario -- but that town on the Quebec border is soooo French it might as well be in Quebec), and in the Gaspé region of Quebec.

I wouldn't know anything about doing proper genealogical traces for Quebecers, other than what the Web has to offer already. A five-minute jaunt through About.com yielded the following resources. And I also know that the Mormons have the most extensive genealogy records in the world for further research. Hope you find something useful here.

Eastern Townships and Quebec Genealogy - Background on how to search for your roots in Quebec, provided by a researcher who also offers her services and who has indexed over 565000 church, cemetery, census, and newspaper articles. http://www.virtuel.qc.ca/simmons/

  * Out of curiosity, I also tried the LDS FamilySearch: INTERNET GENEALOGY SERVICE http://www.familysearch.org/
and obtained a few trial results of the following for your surname (HUNT) families in Quebec:
