Hail Thee,

Seems to me that remoddeling an old house is always a fascinating historical adventure back into the dawn of time. I remember having a few of those, when my parents completely refurbished a house that was build around 1920. Some rooms had several layers of wallpaper and peeling them of, often layerr by layer, uncovered some interesting designs. Or when a wall had to be taken down and it was one of these old walls with wood and a straw / clay mixture, you sometimes found interesting things that had been used to help will the space.

Anway, if anyone ever endavours to take the wallpaper down in the flat the we live in, he will be in for one funny surprise. May wife really loves drawing and when the walls were all bare, before we put the wallpaper on, she simply couldnt resist taking up a pencil ... :-)
