HOW COULD THEY KILL THIS LINE? This line RULES! ;)

I have a friend who loves anime and keeps trying to get me hooked on it. She always shows me the subbed versions (except for occasional, not more than 3 minute forays into the dub so we can laugh at how stupid the voices are), and I think I now know why. ;) I've seen Princess Mononoke, Escaflowne, and Slayers this way (liked Princess Mononoke, didn't care too much for Escaflowne, thought Slayers was pretty funny).

Next time she comes over, armed with her hordes of DVDs, I should make her show me a longer dubbed segment and then watch the same segment subbed, so that I can compare.
