> Speaking of baldness... I can't see ONE good reason to have a combover. It's UGLY BUGLY! I don't mean to offend anyone, although I probably will, saying this. I just want to say it out loud, for once. There are few things as pathetic as seeing a bald man out in the wind with a foot of thin, whimpy hair waving from one side of his head, and him desperately trying to keep it down.

This reminds me of Mr. Cena, one of my teachers in high school. It was common knowledge that he wore a toupee, and he obviously had several toupees that varied slightly in color. He taught most of his classes in a portable building that was separate from the main school building, so he made several trips a day between the buildings. On windy days, Mr. Cena could be seen walking with his hand on his head, apparently to prevent his toupee from flying off. A friend of mine loved to tell the story of how, several years earlier, she had seen a gust of wind take his toupee away with it.

And then I had occasion to meet Mrs. Cena. My classmates were all quite curious about what she looked like, and I said, "Oh, she looks like she wears a wig." I suppose that was a common bond for them to share.
