Very nice scores. I think that's what my sister got in 8th grade also, the high 1000s.

I took the SAT as an 8th grader also, and never again (I took the ACT in high school, since my college(s) wanted either a) the SAT and three SAT IIs, or b) the ACT.... hm... one test, or 4... hard choice there....). I can't remember my score... in the 1100s. Or maybe low 1200s. 1210 sounds right for some reason. I don't know.

Anyway. Doing well on those tests always helps. Colleges talk about how your grades are more important than test scores, blah blah blah, but if you score very well on the tests, and your grades don't completely suck, you'll have a pretty good chance of getting in where you want.

I got a 23 on the ACT when I took it in 7th grade, a 30 in 10th, and a 34 in 11th. (Max is 36, if you don't know anything about the ACT). Highest ACT score in my class. Too bad my class rank was only 40 or something. I still got into WPI here though, so I guess it doesn't matter.
