I've read that almost everyone goes through some degree of real depression at one point or another in their life. Having been through it once, I find that idea a bit shocking...just think how many people are lost and hurting right now. Even more reason everyone should be decent to the person behind the counter, at the other end of the phone line, or the young woman minding her own business in the parking lot.
