There's a USian TV series that started being shown in Australia recently. It's called "Seven Days", and it's about a man who keeps being sent back in time in order to avert disasters.
What follows is, verbatim, what I posted to aus.tv after first seeing an episode of "Seven Days":

They have a summary of the events of the
episode *at the beginning*...
...it's written by people who think having
a car dive off a cliff and explode while the
radio's playing "I Will Survive" is a good
joke...
...at one point, I turned the TV off because
I couldn't stand it any more...

...and then I turned it back on, and watched
all the way through to the end.
Furthermore, I'll probably tune in again next
week.

I must be completely insane.
