Message forum hides the interaction with other people. All what you do is to interact with a machine, you can take all the time you need to think about what you're going to write, you can change and correct your thoughts; moreover you can ignore all the messages that aren't interesting to you.

A real-time chat, instead, while being the same machine-oriented direct interaction, doesn't give you time to think about and opens you to all its contents; a chat, anyway, doesn't hide the interaction with people.

Here in Rinkworks I try to use both the msg. forum and the chat; when it comes to "serious topics" I prefer to post a msg., so I have the time to think about it (my English is not that good, so my postings always take up a LOT of time).

By the way, you're a shy person, aren't you? :)
