One of the oddest things ever to give me nightmares was The Goon Show. Seriously.

I was younger then. It was late at night. I was listening alone in my room, with the lights off, half asleep. It was an episode called "Frog", in which Neddy Seagoon uncovers a massive conspiracy but is thought to be mad (and perhaps he is). The ending is hilarious in broad daylight, but at the time it gave me the creeps. And, as I said, bad dreams.
