This thread reminds me that Terry Gilliam (the director of _Twelve Monkeys_) is said to be planning a film version of the novel _Good Omens_.

Why, you ask in a variety of incredulous voices, does this thread remind me of such a thing?

Because, I reply, there is a scene in _Good Omens_ in which a roomful of telemarketers are eaten alive by maggots.
