I haven't been to Michigan since 1971, but Holland sounds like my kind of place. (Is it near Lake, Michigan? Notice the comma. It's a town named Lake and it's not on Lake Michigan.) Anyway some of those spring festivals are fun. They have a "Dogwood Festival" in Knoxville, TN, not far from where I live. It features music, parades, art exhibits, etc.
