  Heh...I honestly have no clue.  But what I picture is bells (church bells in a bell tower, for instance) swinging up and down...  Honestly, I think only e. e. cummings himself could have explained what in the world he meant.
  And perhaps it's most "admired" among the critics.  I personally like Book-a-Minute's take on e. e. cummings, meself...
