Boy did I confuse myself yesterday! But after a while, I figured it out. Unfortunately, I had already stuck my foot in my mouth. Chat rooms just don't give you enough time to think.

Yes, it was on RinkChat. I decided to sign off so I clicked on "depart" or whatever that word is that means you are leaving. The screen went back to the chat start page, I think, and I went up into the corner to click on the little X to leave the site. Then blink, back comes the chat! I looked at the list of names and I wasn't there, so I hung around a minute and then decided to see if I could send in a post when I wasn't officially there. It went through, because there were so many names on the list, mine had dropped down out of sight. I moved the little slide and there I was. I'm not sure how I got back from the start page, but I probably missed the X and clicked on something else. I'm a terrible shot. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get on without my name showing. Maybe I need to learn to ahck.
