No, I meant I hope NH is an Eastern state. I was pretty sure, but I'm almost never certain about anything. It's up there by Vermont, right? The V and the upside-down V? I could just go look at a map, but then I wouldn't get to sound like a fool....

18 hour drive between states? We have to cross Canada or lots and lots of water. Nearest is, like, an several-hour *flight.*

Yes, you are all little states. If Alaska was split in half, yes, Texas would be the third largest state in the Union and it is a very common saying. 'Specially around Texans.
