And seen it, I did. As a matter of fact, the wife and I just got home from the movie. Princess Mononoke was rather well done. The imagery was top-notch, the music was beautiful, the story had some rather interesting concepts. There was more humor in the film than I anticipated. Some of it was due to the translation from Japanese to English -- some dialogue didn't translate well, or rather, became unintentionally humorous. Other scenes were pretty dang funny.

All in all, a very good movie. I'd give it three and a half stars out of four.

An interesting note was taped to the box office windows: "Princess Mononoke contains scenes of graphic violence to animals and humans. This is not Pokemon."
