  That reminds me of something I heard recently about Ridley Scott - that even when he makes a bad movie, it's never a failure of direction. I think the same probably applies to Ang Lee.

  I still say that Emma Thompson in Stranger than Fiction was cinema's greatest monster. How hard would it have been for her to write "And then he invented a cure for cancer and all diseases"?
