Is there a place on the web where free wireless internet connections are listed? I travel a lot and find that many hotels and motels offer this free service. Others don't. I find that McDonalds and Krystal charge as do some hotels, but sometimes I am just passing through a town and want to quickly check email or maybe send one. So I hope there is a site that lists the hot spots.

I was in downtown Cookeville, Tennessee and stopped in a parking lot. I found four open wireless connections that were "very good" or better. Is that the exception or the norm? Any info appreciated.
