There was a cartoon called "Don't You Hate It When..." which once illustrated the various horrors your Mom could serve for brunch: 1) cold leftover spaghetti.  2) frozen partially-thawed and soggy pizza. 3) mashed up cold polenta.  Yeesh, good thing I've already eaten lunch...
 
 Cold=bad.  Day old and warmed up, however, =the best.
