The film opens with an English professor with bizarre gesticulation mannerisms talking about theories of what's inside the Earth. The story that follows is, predictably, about an expedition to the center of the Earth and an encounter with a goofy civilization. It's too shallow to be any good, but it's not all that terrible, either, at least until the last inexplicable shot.
