The Flying Deuces (1939)

Reviews and Comments

To forget a girl, Oliver Hardy joins the French Foreign Legion and of course gets Stan Laurel to join it with him. But once they discover it's a lot of work for just three cents a day, they inform the Commandant that they'll be on their way. It's a classic Laurel and Hardy plot that provides the boys ample space to set up sight gags and comic routines. By 1939, their best work was behind them, but The Flying Deuces provides good fun for their fans.
