Reviews and Comments

A slight overdose of unlikely slapstick and a moment of surprising morbidity mar this otherwise fresh, funny, energetic Abbott and Costello romp. It was the team's eighth outing, and the series hadn't yet shown any signs of wearing thin. The setting -- a tropical island paradise laden with beautiful women, crooks, and treasure -- provides the comedy team with some delightful material that compensates for the occasional dry spots. Best viewed in a silly mood.
