Laurel and Hardy: Big Business (1929)

Reviews and Comments

Big Business is pretty silly, even for Laurel and Hardy, but it's a perfect showcase of comic escalation, flawlessly timed and hilariously outrageous. The gist is simple: a slapstick mishap sets the boys against regular foil James Finlayson, and they take turns getting even until all heck breaks loose. This is not only one of Laurel and Hardy's funniest comedy shorts, but it's one of the funniest ever made.
