Reviews and Comments

The Schwarzenegger formula wears thin in this mildly entertaining, but utterly unoriginal action flick. Even good films of the genre strain credibility, but in Eraser we see Arnold painfully removing shrapnel from his body (twice) and then leaping around like nothing happened. We see laser sights that inexplicably shine through solid matter on guns that send people flying across the room instead of blowing a hole right through them. For Schwarzenegger fans, this is great fun (as long as you aren't expecting it to be one of his better films), but others may tire of the implausible heroics. Watch for Robert Pastorelli in a hilarious supporting role.
