Reviews and Comments

Lana Turner stars in this whimsical comedy about a rigged dance contest and a college journalist (Richard Carlson) who takes it upon himself to track the plant down. Turner, playing the plant, joins forces with him as part of her cover. The result is a number of amusing complicated comic situations. The material seems like it should play even funnier than it does (which is funny enough), and Carlson makes a dry romantic lead. But the film compensates with sheer charisma and Turner's infectious performance.
