Reviews and Comments

A meek clerk, beat around by his co-workers and his boss, finds sudden courage when he is told he used to be Napoleon (and, later, an Egyptian Pharaoh) in a previous life. It's a silly story that might have worked with wittier script; as it is, the funniest scene -- and the only one of particular note -- has no dialogue at all: it takes place at the dinner table and chronicles the efforts of the title character to keep food on his fork. The reactions of the others at the table is classic. But the rest is formula comedy that isn't as funny as it should be.
