Reviews and Comments

An innocent man is convicted of the murder of a singer. His wife teams up with a songwriter, and they set out to prove him innocent. This mystery is not very original or smart, and several scenes just feel wrong. Peter Lorre makes a great co-star, but his lines and actions in a key scene where the heroine breaks into his office don't make any sense. It's not a total loss. It's entertaining while it lasts, but you'll forget it soon after.
