Reviews and Comments

At the Circus is another good -- and no better than "good" -- comedy the Marx Brothers made at MGM. It's hard to be fair to it when one remembers the brilliant classics they were making only a few years earlier. At the Circus has bundles of gags and shenanigans and snappy one-liners and gorgeous instrumental melodies. It's also got Kenny Baker as a saccharine romantic lead, who should have been left on the cutting room floor.
