From the creative minds of Troma that brought us "The Toxic Avenger" came this piece of dreck, "Blades." It's about a killer lawnmower on the prowl at an exclusive golf club. The good thing about this film is the fact that it's a horror/comedy. The film never takes itself seriously, which is good, because, again, it's about a killer lawnmower.

I bought this movie thinking that I'd laugh through most of it. Boy oh boy was I wrong. It's way too long and way too boring. "Blades," the aformentioned killer lawnmower that became angry after being replaced by Japanense equipment, drives itself around and chops up people randomly. In between killings, not much happens except a lot of boring character development. Finally, after enough people have been killed, the golf course's former groundskeeper and the hero and his girlfriend set out to destroy "Blades." By the time this comes around, you'll probably be asleep, or have turned off this stupid movie.

Things that make you go "Huh?": C4 can be detonated by chucking a golf ball at it.
