This movie is brilliant. I watched the movie yesterday, and I'm still speechless. You have not seen B-Movie, straight to video, Jaws rip-offs until you've seen this mother. Marvel in awe as you realize that the special effects in "Anaconda" weren't so bad by comparison. Gasp in terror as a thirty foot snake bursts the tires of a police car for reasons unknown. I want this movie...badly. It's also educational. I didn't know that poisonous snakes chased, attacked, and bit people and left them for dead instead of eating them. I've learned something about genetics. I never knew that an African King Cobra and Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake could be cross bred, or that the resulting mutant would be twice as big as either.

The incredible ending was...umm...incredible. Mr. Miyagi himself, Pat Morita, stars as the snake hunter guy who is supposed to save the day, Sheriff Brody style. This guy has the most high tech of weapons designed in case thirty foot mutant snakes would escape from a lab and bite people for no reason at all. He's got a big tube with gas to lure these beasts in. And no! As Mr. Miyagi will explain, luring a snake into a little tube is much easier than shooting it. He's got, for protection, a two inch, barbed wire fence with one strand on top of it. Brilliant!

Even more brilliant than the scientist in the beginning who looks like Carrot Top. Look out for that incredible ending. Mr. Miyagi dramatically throws down his weapons because, after all, he's Mr. Miyagi. He and the snake look EYE TO EYE! Then the snake bites him. Dramatic, emotional music plays as Mr. Miyagi staggers around woozy, but don't worry, he's Mr. Miyagi. The snake leans forward and back, biting him repeatedly. Mr. Miyagi staggers around woozy as the same clip of the snake biting him is superimposed as the music plays. Mr. Miyagi is still staggering around dizzy for, like five minutes! Breathtaking! Then when Mr. Miyagi (sniffle) dies the snake tries to eat the woman, but NO! The other guy hits the People's Dropkick! WOW! Never have I seen such an incredible display of ingenious filmmaking. I'm still amazed.
