This fictional movie was made in 1994, based on the book "Porter Rockwell: A Biography" by Richard Lloyd Dewey, who also directed the movie. It featured Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz, and is only rarely available n home video. That the directors and actors were amateurs becomes quite obvious; the movie immediately takes on the look of a home video with a mess of neighbors in the roles. Anachronisms abound. While the setting is the 1840s, the cowboys fire six-shooters which will not be developed for several years. At one point, Malone stealthily enters a door equipped with a shiny, modern door handle complete with deadbolt lock. One wonders if this is really science fiction and if he has been transported forward 150 years. The one shining moment occurs when Malone steps from ambush and punches a bad guy from his saddle; for one brief instant, you see a true actor in that villain who falls senseless. Nevertheless, it is a delight to suffer through, if only to see the names of the many local Utah actors for whom this may be their only chance at greatness.

Response From RinkWorks:

I hate hearing about these movies that I'll probably never be able to see.
