Set in the early 1980s, the Last Dragon was meant to update the martial arts genre by using modern music and setting the story in a contemporary place that teenagers could identify with: Harlem. There is a Shogun of Harlem, Sho'nuf, who wreaks havok on all the innocents proclaiming that he's the baddest mofo in Harlem. The only person in his way is our hero, Bruce Leroy. A student of the martial arts, he is on a spiritual quest to find "the master." What results is an incredibly stupid movie involving music videos, a VJ Queen, glowing hands, Wallace Shawn, the mob, people catching bullets in their teeth, and Bruce Leroy saying "I'm a soul brotha' like no otha'."

Needless to say, it's worth the 50 cent rental fee.
